Sebastian was super coordinated but fergetful  he could really tightrope walk across a swingy rope, climb up to a little bed thing 7feet up on his kitty jungle gym then nap in the bed thang with 4 inch high walls and still somehow roll out by accident :woe:

We is soooo much alike :wubsigh:

You fall out of bed a lot?  :stun:

:bsl:

I spent 4 hours in some old pajama bottoms & an undershirt of Buddy's, cleaning a widdle half bath yesterday.  :faint:  Went through 2 bottles of powerful cleaning ffuts, 2 'magic sponges' & a whole roll of paper towels... plus I about killeded a scrub brush & another sponge.  :uhoh:

It's 90% better.  :faint:

I wonder iffin she's ever seen one like this?  :uhoh:

The shower stall is white tile... but the grout was 1/2 inch wide & BLACK!  :scared:

I scrubbed & scrubbed & scrubbed, but dint wanna scrub some parts too hard becuz I was askeered the tiles would fall off (some had been half-assedly repaired).  The water spout thingy is just about to break loose, too.  :faint:  And of course what little caulking there was left was black & peeling.  :sigh:

Fortunately, we was able to break the seal on the window & open it cuz otherwise I prolly wouldn't be typing here this morning.  :hysterical:

Yep.  I had on my invisible hazmat suit.  :happydance:

I figured that :asiel: was having problems with the site too...

Here's what she emailed me...

I closed out Cr2 to come back (cuz it's faster than refreshing lol) & now I cain't get back in & don't have time to wait.

Am to be at the hospital between 9 & 10 & gots a bunch of ffuts to do beforehand.  He (Buddy) may be coming home today.  :faint:  The consensus is that he's better off at home becuz under hospital scrutiny the doctors have to do more than they would like to (like insulin injections & breathing treatments...) knowing that his body is just shutting down.

Just wanted you to know I is fine... & you can let the others know as well.  :)

I'll pop back in when I can.

 for :asiel: and family

loads of :gstars: for our :asilly: to cope with all that needs done.

On my side, its extreme :wtf: :frantic: :gaah: :wall: and :uhoh:

The car has now been ready for collection for a week, and I still have not been able to raise the money. I ran out of excuses to my folks why I am not coming ... they need me to go do that thing that :asilly: is doing for Buddy.

And I had to pawn my laptop again on Sunday, so we could get food.

I forgot that a portion of my salary was incentive based, and because I was not working for three weeks of the month, I got none of that, so I only got 60% of what I normally would have gotten.  Rudi had to fix his brakes on his car, and pay his father some of the money his father paid to have his transmission.. and the rest of his salary went into the bills for the rent, and the bills. so we are both broke. :gaah:

:sigh:

the weather is also funny.. one moment hot, the next chilly... its raining right now.

I took the long trip by foot to the mall again, and did nothing else today, takes so long to get there and back, and then I am sore as hell when I get home

End of whine

Whinelos.  :check:

He is going home.  :faint:  Zen Aunt acquired him a cadillac walker which he thunk is purty cool.  8)  It IS purty cool.   And he operated it extremely well saying, "It's not much different that a bush hog.".  :hysterical:

Mom & J ack i (yes, J ack i :faint:  ) are at the hopsickle now waiting on a final IV antibiotic to drip & for the nurse to remove the catheter.  I am back home making chicken soup for everyone.

Oh & as for the 'cleaning sooner' thingy, Micha...  we tried, and tried, and tried.  He simply wouldn't allow it.  We'd vacuum & dust & do a few things around the house when he wasn't home & Mom always deep-cleaned the main bath when she stayed there ,but his bedroom & bathroom were just 'off-limits'.

That's why this was such a great opportunity to just do it.  :happydance:  It will be inneresting to see if he even notices.

yakO... he got home quicker than we thought.  :faint:

B just came in & said he was so weak that he had to fully support him just to get him in the door & into his chair.

Gonna throw the soup together asap & get back over there to help.

I noes I'll be getting a :whatever: but a two squirt bottle system will pretty much keep everything from turning black or crusty. One with distilled water and hydrogen peroxide plus a dash of propanol ... this will kill all molds and bacteria. The second with distilled water, EDTA and a dash of propanol. Just use one after each bath/shower and alternate :wiggle:

Um if you don't happen to have a kilo of lab grade EDTA available you can use white vinegar or citric acid :oz:

Thanks, Oona.  :hugs:  And thank, sig.  :whatever:  (cuz you asked for it  )

So he went home.   And SUDDENLY he could not stand up any more.  :sigh:

Most likely he had a TIA (they call them mini-strokes), but he shifted dramatically from just a few hours before.

With tears in his eyes, he asked someone to call Miss Melba & she rushed right over.   When he saw her he began bawling & we all had to leave the room.  :crying:  He kept saying, "I can't walk, Melba.  I can't walk.".

We all taked to him, telling him he just had to go back to the hospital & he kept saying, "I'll go in the morning.".    We ended up with an ambulance taking him back just 3-4 hours after he'd gotten home.

:sigh:

It was an excruciatingly emotional afternoon.  :(  But the amazing thing was that while he cried & Miss Melba talked (so sweetly & lovingly) to him.... J ack i was the only one who stayed right there beside them.  :shera:
She was unbelievable.

And today is another day.

Ah Asilly I asked about Buddy in the Violet thread so please ignore that. All of those emotions can be so exhausting. Buddy must be so sad - I'm sure he wanted to be at home.

Jacki is amazing. Sending love to all of you.

And would you believe that as of noon yesterday my 2 aunts were still undecided as to what they were gonna do about their trip (this FRIDAY)?  :gaah:

I would think that after yesterday afternoon the decision would be easy.

Added:  Thanks, Vi.  :hugs:  Yeah, he wanted to be home.  :sigh:  And I've never seen anyone fight so hard to stay there.

He said, "This has happened before & if I just eat a few bites I will get some strength back in just a few minutes."

So he ate.  He ate soup, a baby candy bar, crackers, asked for a can of peanuts... He ate with fierce determination, chewing every bite like it was the most important bite of food on the planet.

Then he tried to get up again.  And he says, "I think I feel a bit stouter" but he only stood a couple seconds before melting back into the chair.  :cry

There wasn't a dry eye in the house.

And B lost it (& took me with him) when he says, "You know, I've known Buddy longer & been closer to him than any of my own grandparents?"  :bawling: :bawling:

It's true.  He's known Buddy for 28 years... as long as me.  And 3 of his grandparents died before he was even out of high school... just his one (Aunt Bonnie-like :faint: )grandmother lived til J ack i was 2 or 3.
