I thunk you was a largo.  :coffee:

:nana:

We just heared thunder.  :faint:  Loud, rumbling thunder.  :faint:  And there ain't a cloud in the sky or a thang on the radar except amalgamous propagation.  :faint:

I've seen lightning when the skies were clear, but neever heared thunder.  :faint:

Strange, strange, strange.

:gstars:

Pre- :coffee: maybe though I prefer the term lento moderato though in general I shoot for a nice cantabile ... :chuckle: Dang I can't believe I remember all those terms ... I was in the youth symphony ... first chair second violin :ashamed:

Oh and :faint:

That was my problem too.   Practicing sucked.

I was always first chair in high school... prolly the best musician they'd had through there in years... but never practiced.  :anon:

College was a different story.  :uhoh:  I discovered peoples who lived in the practice rooms.

Twas not for me.  :nonono:   All I now think I went to college for was to find :b:

I amember the violin.

Mine got stolen out of my hotel room when I was an apprentice there. Together with all my clothes and everything I owned.  Maybe the universe wanted to save the rest of the world from my playin!

:bsl:

:secret:  I wasn't any good, but still tried.

Then I got a flute. A proper one. My sister in law bought that from my two years later. ( I think SHE wanted to save the world).. she is a lecturer in music at one of the universities now. Back then she just taught it in highschool.  See, she trained as an Opera singer.  Has a Masters in Operah. But then she married my brother, who was a preacher at the time, and as the ministers wife she could not go on stage.  Hey. I digress again.

Anyways. Today I play only one instrument.  The fool! :)

Figgered he wants me to wear it.

ORANGE CAT

yup, LOTS of "pulsing" happening here... headache/sinus pain/shortness of breath symptoms, exacerbated by forest service controlled burns :yucky:...

i thought of a song when in the shower: "We Can Work it Out", the Stevie Wonder version...do not know why  :rainbow:

oh, a black/brown cat that belongs to my neighbors was sitting in my back yard two days ago...she was perched on a sill of the "shed", keeping an eye out for gophers, or so i thought...

Hey don't blame me for your previous lack of animation your computer prolly failed to cache all of the layers so it didn't move

Oh and only a minor feeling of "urgency" here ... I have to finish caulking and weather stripping but don't wanna werk :oz:

Soooo do people really use CDs still? I mean I have some packed up someplace as backups but the've all been burned to mp3s and are on my computer, memory stick or mp3 player :dunno:

I think we're about the only CD players left.  :uhoh:

The young whippersnappers will neever know the magic of a really good CD, one produced like a symphony from start to finish.  :sigh:

:hysterical:

No, I'm not talking vinyl though we do have some still that we prolly oughta sell.  :anon:

I was talking about a how good CD has songs that flow & build on each other... like a symphony.

A symphony is an extended musical composition

:nana:

Jus' sayin... kids today just pick & choose singles & miss out on a whole nother level of experience.

Not that there's anything wrong with that or nuthin.

Triple the Light Fantastic    Monday, 12 October 2009

Tomorrow, if the sky is clear and it's still dark when you wake, go where you can get good view of the eastern horizon. Over where the Sun rises, you'll find three planets one above the other. The brightest, and highest, is Venus. Below it, to the left, there's Saturn. Look down again for Mercury... which is normally quite hard to spot. A triple conjunction! What could provide a better start to the day? This evening, you'll see Jupiter in a similar spot. It changes direction this week. For all with high hopes and big dreams, that's also auspicious.

You've been looking up modern definitions again :sigh: If you use your definition as the root meaning then the word "symphonic" doesn't make sense.  The word "symphony" is a composite of two latin words meaning "together" + "sound" and is meant to mean "harmoniuous" :nana:

Anywho if you like the order of a CD just put your files in that order :oz:

I ws gonna put something nice in the report for Jenal but now maybe :siguie: will do it when he shows up?  :hugs:

Just got a phone call & Aunt Bonnie fell last night & crushed her shoulder.  :sigh:  there is nothing they can do as her bones are so old & mushy.  I am going to the hospital to find out more & see what we can do to help.

Also... got a call last night & B's Aunt Linda in OH died yesterday as well.  :candle:
She was an  .  Fostered & then adopted 7 babies with fetal alcohol syndrome the youngest of which graduated high school in 09.
She was 61 years old & the whole family understands that she was simply finished with what she came here to do.

Love youse all.  :grouphug:

:check:

It was too cloudy chemtraily here this morning to see a thang.  :(  Maybe in the morning.  :wish:

So... Aunt Bonnie has a bad (crushed) break in her upper right arm, not the actual shoulder joint... and several hairline fractures on her pelvis.   On Thursday she will be moved to the rehab/nursing home.
She's ready to go.  In all senses of the word.

:gheart:
