Asiel, my thoughts are with Buddy too. How is he? Any news yet?

So far, so good.

The doctor said the artery in his 'bad' leg was 80% blocked & he cleared it to the knee, but below the knee the artery was 'gone'...

After seeing that he decided not to even go into the other leg so as not to stress his kidneys with any more dye.

They put him on Plavix... and the doc said, "Maybe we bought him a little more time.".

He's supposed to be coming home today. Still got an hour to go of flat-on-his-back with a sandbag on his groin & then Mom is bringing him home.

B & I are going over to help. And take the soup I made today.

I swear he's related to the Energizer Bunny.

get him new batteries...............

I guarantee if he can walk at all he'll be back out for lunch at McDonald's tomorrow.

The man obviously has 'missing' pain receptors.

Dr said he shoulda been in severe pain from lack of circulation years ago.

Spoo. I forgot to tell that Buddy got out of the van...walked in the house & shuffled back to the bedroom like nothing had happened.

Said he just didn't know why his legs were so weak, but figgered they'd be fine today.

He also got animated & excited talking about his first wheelchair ride out of the hopsicle.

Mom said around 2 o'clock he got restless & decided he was gonna pull the IV out & just go home.

And she said he refused to stay flat on his back any longer.

I reminded her (once again) about how that is the behavior or a 'survivor' & how similar J ack i is to her great-grandfather.

Mom said she had already been out for breakfast with Buddy (he goes to E Dubs, the grocer, every morning around 6:30

) and then they rode all over town. Now she was gonna clean.

Yeah but that's the price ya pay for cheap "shared hosting"

There was nuthin I could do ... the server was borked and I wasn't the one to does it ... this time.

Anywho, they advertise 99% up time ... which means it's down 3.65 days each year

Well I should prolly get around to that other server backup system ... I was gonna do it back in Feb. but most siguie projects are prone to random unfathomable delays
