Funny how I always see cats even when they're not there. Especially on our bed.

Oh... I guess since I mustered so much (fake) excitement about going to Fred's to get a new coffee pot... I got to go TWICE.

They had 4 to choose from, ranging from $8.99 to $24.99 for the 'Professional Series'. I got the 'Pro' one the first time... got it home & unpacked it & it was STOOPID.

Had a timer (which we wanted) but there was NO light in the led display so you couldn't even see the numbers without a flashlight. So I took it back.

More remarkable though was how everyone I ran into was 'out of it'.... empty-eyed & 'distracted'... like 'nobody's home'.

I even met half dozen or more oncoming cars who were veering onto my side of the road.

No close calls... just driew.

So when I knew I was going back a second time I intentionally 'pumped up my vibe'

to see what would happen...

People were still 'awol'.

I smiled & said hello to everyone I met, but they were nearly unresponsive.

I could relate to how they felt since I woke up not even knowing where I was.

I saw that 'out of it' and 'unresponsive' thingie too yesterday...I however
was quite alert and very responsive. It felt as if I was a huge ocean liner
just leaving wake everywhere I went and bumping up the frequencies...Here's
an example...

Wal*Mart - very nice young man at the checkout lane. He had one customer
but his light wasn't on. So I stayed with Jinn Kai and the basket and asked
Krystal to ask if his lane was open. She had to ask him twice if he was open,
then told him his light wasn't on. He finally told her his lane was open.

So when I got up there with the basket and Jinn Kai, I noticed that he was
a dead ringer for Jaguar Paw in Apocalypto. So I asks him about it. I says,
hey you...wakes up. You ever been in a Mel Gibson movie before? No. He
replies. So I says, well you ever seen A Mel Gibson movie before? Yeah. He
replies. So I says, well you ever seen Apocalypto? Yeah. He replies. So I
says, you look just like Jaguar Paw.

At this point Krystal steps in and I gets the look...

the dreaded look...

So I just looks at Krystal and says, Well he does look like Jaguar Paw..I was
just making sure he knews it... Saw ree...

We leave and go to the car and Krystal says, You're really something! I just

at her and says, Pey...I knows. Thanks for noticing...

At least when we left anywhoo Jaguar Paw was awake.

Speaking of portals...

I forgot to tell y'all that I found a Faerie Door/portal thingy in the woods last weekend.

Haven't been through it yet, but that night I dreamt that I did.

Anyways... it just about 20-30 feet up from Grandmother Cedar who I've gone to visit hundreds of times.

And it's near the beginning of the 'rainforest'.

(if you come in our drive from the road, Spring Creek borders the left side of the drive. Then a couple hundred feet in you go UP a good little hill & right there at the top is Grandmother Cedar. Also... that's just about the spot where the creek SUDDENLY veers left... away from our property. There is an awesomely lush ravine on our property going down & out towards the creek. That's the 'rainforest'.... and also where I've seen a wolf, coyote, & many deer appear from)

So... I found the doorway by noticing this GIANT sycamore branch sticking out of the brush & following it to see where it's tree was.

As I stepped into the brush I noticed that just beside the GIANT sycamore was another tree who grew straight UP for about 4 feet & then it's trunk bent over at a complete 90 degree angle to reach for the light.

Then.. I notice a whole 'patch' of sycamores just a bit further down the slope.

Someday, when the time is 'right', I will put on shoes

and wander in there.

Same thing.

The cashier at Fred's who sold me the first coffee pot & then took my return & sold me the second was TOTALLY 'asleep'. She was a potentially sweet, older lady. When I returned the first pot I says, "Remember me?"

And get NO response period.

Then the manager tells me to go get what I want & come right back. yakO...tiny store, 3 pots left to choose from... I was right back.

Had to fill out a 'return form' & when it asked 'Why?' I was returning I ask the cashier, "Can I just put on here that it is STOOPIDLY made?"

Again... BLANK stare. Not even a

And the funnier thing was she was telling everyone... like a robot.. "Have.. a.. nice.. evening" as they were leaving the store.

It was really, really ddo for around here.

Now in Louisville I saw 'zombies' all the time.

Wondering if it's 'yakO' to tamper with the temperature yet? Somehow the time feels closer.

So much I've always known is possible, but also known it was in the highest good to 'wait'.

My niece, Chloe (who is Zanna/Pan/Ladybug-like

) was literally jumping up & down & squealing at the top of the ravine saying, "Mom, let me go! Let me go! I gotta go!". She had flip-flops on & hasn't gotten to do it yet.

Speaking of portals again.

Mom had told me yesterday to 'just come on over' if I wanted some homemade soup. (it's just 600 miles

). Then today she said she needed mashed potatoes & I said, 'well come on over & I'll give you some freshly dug potatoes'.

Then I said how cool it would be if we had a portal where we could just *POOF* stuff like that & she agreed, but I went further & said I'd like to be able to *POP* right in like Endorah always did on Bewitched.

Mom says, "Careful what you wish for.".

(sey, she's said that for years... long before I knew UC)

Then she says...with a tear in her voice..."when I was first married & so far away from home...long distance phone calls were a luxury...so Mama & I wrote letters. I never would have believed that you & I could talk every day like this & oh how much I'd given to have been able to talk to Mama every day."

I got soooo tired in the afternoon, but shook it off

and had a wonderfully productive day.

And me & B BOTH just got up. He's feeling dreadfully late.

I spent enough years watching Ex Mr. Violet #2, work everyone into the ground. His energy was unbounded....

It took me a long time to learn to say "no", I can't do anymore. Exhausting he was... pey, people were amazed watching him work. More fun watching than working with him.
