We seriously laughed at it.

I mean... there was supposedly this electro-magnetic storm & nothing worked, not cars nor electricity nor cell phones... except this one guys video camera.

But on another note...

we 'roadsided' today.

Made a whopping $36, but had so much fun meeting neighbors.

Met a guy named Levi who is a college student... a lady named Hiawatha (for real

) who bought ALL our purple peas

... a 'familiar' couple who moved here a year ago from New Mexico... and a whole bunch more.

Funny how many Kaerfs are hidden away in the country.

strange energies.............

hubby says he feels as if somethng "drastic" is going to happen soon ...

had been feeling that a few hours before he told me and went to bed two hours later............

he is not

or woowoo at all ............. <--- those are

and sholud be locked up.....

only thing that happened was
my stepfather got operated at his eye
and non of us "kids" called to ask how he was ...

now he is a bit upset ..

but I didn't know WHEN the operation would be...
(just that it would be soon - that was told three weeks ago with a date for a pre-check ten days ago).

oh, well.. this will get settled again---- just toooooo sensible those

type men .........

Oh how fun.

I just told B that he's getting his hair cut before 8 o'clock... or else!

He is at least 2 weeks overdue but won't sit still & stay indoors so I can do it in the morning... before I is too tired or whatever.

I like to drink a bunch of coffee beforehand & then make my hand tremble when I pick up the scissors.

I likes to drop the scissors a lot and then do the

David, kaerf friend from former neighborhood stopped by on his way back from Ashland...He had seen a "woo-woo" healer person, who said his white blood cell count was way high. David is "thinthetive" and is his own medicine-person. He said that he had been ill for 9 days--had literally "died" at one point--was in an altered state of consciousness the entire time. It was interesting that we both had the experience that our customary healing modalities were not effective.

soze...we are sittin' and soakin' in the sun's rays as it travels westward...in my front yard, in front of the dead birch trees...David says: "I will take those down for you if I can have the wood for my stove"...I says: "great!..but first get well"...I gave him a bowl of my plum-apple sauce. He enjoyed it very much. He'd lost at least 10 lbs., and on his slim frame, it was highly noticeable.

soze..i is back to makin' curtains for upstairs

That's what we did today.

Decided we weren't into farmin today so we took bouquets of flowers to my Zen Aunt, the Seed Faerie (her secretary, Arlene), and my other Aunt (who I need to 'name'

).

Then we took supper to Buddy & sat & visited with him for an hour or so.

Funny though... I had also taken my Zen Aunt a bottle of the St John's Wort tincture that I'd made becuz there are 2 recently confirmed swine flu cases in our widdle town & lots of sick peoples coming into the clinic.
'The doctor' (who owns the clinic) was in her office when we stopped in. So as I handed her the bottle she lit up & said, "Oooooh... what are we gonna cure with this?"
So I looked at 'The doctor' & said, "Close your ears for a second" then turned to her & said, "Swine Flu!".

Yeah, but the funniest thing was when I told her to take it at the first sign of a scratchy throat cuz that was usually the first symptom of a virus my husband

looked at the doc & said, "Is that right, Dr. Winkler? Is a scratchy throat the first sign of a virus?"

He says, "I dunno. If she says so, I guess it is."

I said, "Damn straight!"

He's a cool doctor. When he wanted to take my Zen Aunt's gallbladder out & she chose to consult me instead he said, "Do whatever ya got to do. Who am I to say it won't work?".

He was stunned that she recovered so well though.
