Muggie day today. Had thunder boomies last night, haint had thunder boomies but

three times in 15 years. 

yuppers!  we gots that here in South Heaven, too---plus smoke!


but i slept well, had strange, kinda threatened dreams---my backpack being stolen/attempted theft in a second dream---that dream started out in a quiet, suburban neighborhood.  I was visiting a man who appeared to be Asian, in his 60's maybe..anyway, his "modest" home opened in the back into a kinda arcade place.  I could tell that this man was "imbalanced", and I returned to the front of the home to retrieve my pack..there was more to the dream, but I will only say that I have had "medicine" (healing) issues with those who attempt to "steal" innocence/purity from the young.

 



Sand: that oak coffee table sounds wonderful!   And I dig her values (I have a big collection of movies, VHS and DVD).     Jenal: I had a Duncan Phyfe coffee table for years--one of the items obtained through our (ex and my) antique store.


Z, EYE see your eye healing, and Vi: take it easy when you do your healing touch session (can you "include" your knee in "thought" as you heal your neighbor?)

I just now saw this Dr. A and my neighbor has left. She came in with her husband helping her and using a cane. She looked like she had been through a hideous hell and I guess she has. They put in a spacer and fused two vertebrae. Ouchie.

I don't think of myself while working on someone. I'm fully present for that person. She said she was almost pain free at the end of the session. Her husband called me when they got home and said she got out of the car on her own, without his help. He was shocked.

Doc...yes the eye is healing.  It's a slow process
just enough to slow me down a little bit...I put in a
contact for 1/2 the day then took it out put more
medicine in and took a 2 hour nap.

Had to put another one in so I could cook Z3's dinner
and now it's still in, but I will take it back out before
sleep and apply more medicine.

Not quite the doctor's instructions - but he's not here
now is he?

Is that the brand name? My daughter loves carrot cake. Ohohohohoh.. I gots to hold Mila. They are back from vacation and she's an inch longer. But she smiled up and me and started a conversational cooing fest. I guess she was smitten with her great aunt Nancy. She's the only surviving sibling on my mom's side now. My uncle and she still have this megalithic garden along their house in WI, and picked fresh corn, beans, sliced 'maters and cuc's and Nancy made fresh bread for lunch.

I got my Mila fix.

And   because I 'caught' your right-side thingy yesterday afternoon.     
It seems to be gone now, but early in the afternoon it SUDDENLY felt like my lower rib cage was 'out of place' or somethin.  Was very hard to get comfortable & even affected my breathing.   

But this morning it feels fine again. 

I'll check back w/the eye/knee (I had a great-aunt named Inie...Inez ) in a bit. 


So... today is mine & Butchie's 24th wedding anniversary.    I told him the Rolex I ordered hadn't arrived yet & he said the original Mona Lisa he bought me would be here later this week.

Today is also Scooby Doo & CoCo's FIRST birthdays.

So... my internets has disconnected 3 times now.    Knowing I'm on 'borrowed time'. 

Hoping to at least change the date in the 'news', but iffin I can't sig might have to bring out the AI. 


If I don't show up there in the next hour or so would someone please tell LA that I am thinking of him (and thinking about house-cleaning ... nah, you don't have to tell that part) & wanting to follow the travel thread.  Just having lots of puter problems lately. 

Oh.. and for whatever it's worth (typing everything while I can ) my cats are this morning...and already brought 3 dead things to the back door.     

And yesterday, J ack i was on "delayed reaction" Alllllll day long.    Our errands ended up taking 3 hours yesterday because she was soooooooo slow.    No 'meltdowns'    Just a "Vacancy Sign" on her face.

My eye is hurting but I have no one to blame but me...I
knew I shouldn't have put contacts in it yesterday, but
it was necessary. 

I did sleep without contacts though...

Can you go without contacts today? I know how hard that is. I am so blind without mine. I only have a pair of really old glasses. Every year my doctor gives me a prescription for a new pair and I just never get it filled.

It's just the money... I really should have a pair for my current prescription. I don't have a problem switching to glasses like you do. Maybe you need a new pair.

Dang, girls.    So sorry you're in pain.  I relateded last night when I gots locked in a battle with my rib-thang for awhile.  Knew I was fighting myself, too.      I'm going outside where my connection is solid all the time..    and will connect with the both of y'alls in just a minute.  

Then I gots to begin 'strategizing'.    LOTS of maters, okra, melons, peepers, coming in and LA AND my parents are both arriving on Thursday.  Don't know how I'm gonna juggle that yet.    Told Mom we'd come to the lake on Thurs, but maybe not.  Mostly, it's the dust & pet hairs & house ffuts I gots to squeeze in to the 'schedule'.

Violet, nope, cannot go without contacts today.  Gots lots of
tourists leaving and you caint do detail cleaning without
being able to see.  

About the glasses thing...when my eye thingie happened
in December, I got a prescription for glasses and got
it filled thinking when I didn't want to wear contacts or
couldn't, I would have the glasses.  One day just for
giggles, I put on the glasses.  I got instantly dizzy
and sick and had to take them off.

So now that I have this problem it's like I told the doctor...
it's a choice of eye pain vs do I wanna be sick...
I choose eye pain...

So this morning I have went through all of my excuses
as to why I caint go to the doctor...and come up with
nothing...I noes I gots to go...I just don't wanna...

But you...you prolly should see a doctor.  If it's not
getting better, perhaps it is time to have it looked at.
