GhosTalk - Settings
You can always run GhosTalk with the default values but you can also change them.
You can set the number of scans for between 2 and 30. If you want to stop the scanning early put a check in the "Stop after this acquisition" checkbox. Once the scan is complete the program will finish up.
You can also change how long each scan takes {this changes the delay in choosing numbers}. The default scan takes 33 seconds to finish and the max is 110 seconds. To figure out how long a complete run will take multiply the number of scans by the number of seconds for each scan for an approximate time to completion {the default is just a little over 5 minutes ... 10 scans 33 seconds each}.
So far there are 5 different themes. Most are lame and or still being worked on. Number 5 is my favorite ... with 3 little buttons near the top. To see your hits click on the 3rd button. This theme wont give a tone for every hit which can be annoying.
Make this my default: is a checkbox that will set a cookie for you that will keep whatever changes you made {Theme, Number of Scans, Delay} so you don't have to keep running the default settings. You can also leave the checkbox blank to undo your changes and go back to the default values.
The settings cookie and "ghost save" cookie are separate so you can delete either without affecting the other.
Cookies are not required to run GhosTalk ... they are just nice if you want to store the data or keep your settings.
